Old Oak Barn offers unique self catering accommodation for 4 or 5 in a peaceful woodland valley and is situated in West Carmarthenshire near the Pembrokeshire border only 5-10 minutes from the A40 & St Clears.

The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and contains all you may need for your holiday or short break. The two bedrooms are simply furnished and are adjacent to the spacious main living room which measures 6 x 5 mt. Travel cot or camp bed can be used to sleep 5. We welcome those wanting a short break out of the main holiday season - minimum of 2 nights. We welcome children. Prices start at £285 for a full week in the winter to maximum of £595 in the summer. Short breaks from only £130. Typical April - early July week is £400.

This part of Carmarthenshire is popular for holidays in Wales and is easily accessible from the M4 being approximately 90 minutes from the Severn Bridge - on a good run! We are only a short drive from many well known and beautiful parts of West Wales which include the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and National Park. Folly Farm and Oakwood are only 30 minutes away. Tenby, Laugharne, Saundersfoot and Caldey Island also nearby. The barn is very near our 40 acre wood where badgers can often be seen. Informal gardens with small swings for children plus 2 more much bigger swings in the woods are very popular.

We have installed broadband wireless internet access WIFI at Old Oak Barn - so if you want to check emails and log on please bring your own laptop. We provide this service free of any extra charge and guests who use it find the connection speedy and reliable.
