Old Oak Barn lies in its own unique valley surrounded by trees and fields. With the increasing threat to our ash trees we have been checking all plantations and so far trees of all ages appear to be healthy. however, with ash die back reported just a few miles away near Llanboidy we are being vigilant and cautious.

Cwmpalis woods continue to be managed and this year we have felled 2 small areas – lengths lie safely stacked ready for storage on the yard.Autumn Colours

The small swings in the little garden above and the stream adjoining the garden are much enjoyed by our younger visitors at every time of year.

Not many veggies left at Old Oak Barn as winter comes – out of view are brussel sprouts!

Look carefully and you will see the newly arrived ewe lambs to graze this winter at Old Oak Barn
