Set in such a beautiful location the boys have had the freedom to roam that they don’t have in a busy town. The wildlife was amazing - a perfect holiday and we've had a great time."

Spring and early summer 2008 - lots of visitors including from USA, New Zealand, Japan and Europe - and all without fail have told us they loved their choice of Old Oak Barn - and already some have rebooked for 2009.

W and A from America stayed in June and said "Thank you for creating such a lovely environment and for your consideration during our stay."

Stuart and Adele from Shropshire July 2008 wrote "Such a wonderful place - peace and tranquil - make sure you take the wild flowers handbook on any walks around the farm - very addictive and an eye opener on how many different tyoes we take for granted." "Folly Farm brilliant - Tenby brilliant!" "At the end of a hectic day it was so nice to sit and wind down on the lovely raised patio - south facing - what a sun trap!"

The Knox family from Oxford – “We’ve had a wonderful weeks holiday our first family one. The barn and surrounding area are beautiful – hope Harry’s loud chattering didn’t scare off the wildlife! We’ve been lucky to have mostly sunshine this week and we’ve really enjoyed it!”

The Limricks “Lovely barn and what made it perfect were all the little touches like the children’s toys – much appreciated. We recommend Sunday lunch at The Botanic Gardens, Tenby, Amroth beach, Whitesands at St Davids. We managed not to burn down the woods with our inept BBQing – and to return one day.” Oct 2008

Gwen age 14 – “The cabin is so much fun – I’m glad I finally got the courage to go on the swing!” Joe age 12 “We adored playing on the bean bag and I also LOVED the stars!” "What a fabulous half term break – we thoroughly enjoyed several walks along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, some a little windy and wetter than others. The TARZAN rope swing in the woods is a big hit! The barn is wonderful and we hope to return soon”

Several upholsterers stayed for the course held nearby at Foxhill! No complaints but too tired to write in the book!

Jackie and Penny from Canada – Such a wonderful time. Old Oak Barn has great charm and all mod cons – heated floors a luxury – a home away from home!”

Lee and family from Kent – “Folly Farm – a must for kids. Tenby – beautiful beach and sweet shop! Heatherton – good for bigger kids and GoKarting Fab for fathers/sons/daughters! Blue Boar St Clears – delicious menu locally sourced food. Pembroke Castle – interesting. We all fell in love with Old Oak Barn and from the minute we walked in we felt warm, homely, secure and relaxed! Very child proof toys! Thanks to the chickens for the eggs – weather was dry and mild! We love Old Oak Barn and we’ll be back!” “Internet access very useful.”
