Pembrokeshire Boat Rides to see Grassholm gannets – lots of fun!

gannets

Catching the little ferry from St Justinians you can spend the day on Ramsey quite happily or if preferred you can go straight to Grassholm to see the gannets – they say there are 50,000 on the island!

Thousand Island Boat Trips will take you round the delights of St Brides Bay and further afield to Grassholm and Ramsey and even The Smalls. We recommend splashing (!) out on a 3 hour trip to see the amazing wildlife off the Pembrokeshire Coast while staying in the area.  Usually boats go from Whitesands Bay or St Justinians and booking is quick and easy.

Gannets of Grassholm

A friend took these lovely photos of the gannets of Grassholm – Awesome sight seeing so many gannets and the smell is something else too!

Gannets at GrassholmIf staying at Old Oak Barn near Carmarthen you wont have to get up early to make the most of the day because you can catch the afternoon boat or in the summer there is an option to do an early evening trip.  We have all the information here for you to plan your day.
